Our Site/Directions

Our location: Our beautiful six-acre farm on Lummi Island sits on a hill overlooking Rosario Strait, yet it is only a 25-minute drive or a 35-minute bus ride from downtown Belligham. The six-minute ferry ride to the island is a wonderful way to begin and end a wonderful day!


Common Threads Farm is a twenty-five minute drive or thirty-five minute bus ride from downtown Bellingham. 

To the ferry:
By car: From I-5, head north to exit 260.  Turn left or West on Slater Road. Follow Slater Road 3.22 miles to Haxton Way.Turn left or South on Haxton Way. Follow Haxton Way 7.02 miles to the Whatcom County Public Works Lummi Island Ferry.


By Bus:
The #50 bus runs from downtown Bellingham to the Lummi Island Ferry.  Contact the Whatcom Transit Authority at 360-676-RIDE, or at http://www.ridewta.com/route_50 for up to date schedule information.


The Ferry:

Once on Lummi Island:
Turn right on North Nugent Rd., left on Centerview Rd., left on Tuttle, and right on Sunny Hill Lane.  Turn right into the first driveway: 4050 Sunny Hill Lane.  Common Threads Farm is less than one mile from the ferry landing.
